Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) Required in Croydon, Surrey for Family Run Crash Repair Workshop 
  • Pay: Starting from £45k Basic + incentives
  • Hours: 7.30 - 5pm Monday - Friday + breaks throughout the day 
Are you an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor looking for an exciting opportunity in Croydon? Our client, a well-established family-run crash repair workshop, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team. This position offers a chance to work in a busy, friendly environment with excellent earning potential and room for progression.

Benefits for the Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA):  
  • Starting salary of £45,000 per annum with negotiable pay depending on experience
  • Potential for bonuses after a three-month probation period
  • Competitive incentives and benefits package
  • Full-time permanent position, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Working hours from 7.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday, with scheduled breaks throughout the day
Duties of the Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA);
  • Assess vehicle damage accurately and efficiently using Audatex and Autoflow systems
  • Liaise with insurance companies, customers, and colleagues to facilitate repairs
  • Assist with technical enquiries both in the office and in the workshop
  • Support reception staff and provide an extra set of eyes in the workshop environment
  • Help manage the workflow to ensure timely completion of repairs and assessments
Requirements of the Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA):
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or estimator is essential
  • Proficiency with Audatex and Autoflow systems is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of bodyshop operations and repair procedures
  • Local individuals preferred, with a good understanding of the Croydon area and surrounding regions
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a proactive approach to work
