They are seeking a skilled and motivated Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their highly respected team at their Reading dealership. Our Client is offering the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • Up To £40,000 Basic Salary + Bonus (£50,250 OTE)
  • Monday To Friday (45 Hour Week) / Saturday Rota
  • Main Car Dealer Workshop Environment
  • 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Diagnostic / EV Experience Required
  • Full Level 3 Qualifications Essential

Duties of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct complex diagnostic, warranty, and repair work on vehicles
  • Complete electrical vehicle repairs and hydraulic jobs in line with manufacturer standards (if qualified)
  • Utilise diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve challenging technical issues
  • Support and mentor Apprentice Technicians in their development
  • Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards
Requirements:
  • Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and a recognised Diagnostic qualification
  • Previous experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or similar role is preferred, but brand qualification will also be considered
  • Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to safety and quality standards
  • Enthusiastic about continuous learning and development, especially in electric and hybrid vehicle technology
  • Driven to progress within the automotive industry and eager to enhance technical skills through manufacturer training
