Duties
  • Inspect, service, and repair trailers to ensure optimal safety and functionality
  • Complete all compliance documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Diagnose faults with EBS systems such as HALDEX, WABCO, and KNORR BREMSE
  • Conduct welding and repair work as required
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines within the workshop environment
  • Participate in ongoing training including IRTEC, tail lift, BPW, and SAF axle/brake systems
  • Provide excellent customer service while adhering to tight deadlines
Requirements as a HGV Trailer Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Trailer Technician or HGV Technician in the Automotive or Transport Industry
  • Industry recognised qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ
  • Desirable: HGV Class 1 driving licence
  • EBS diagnostics experience with systems like Knorr Bremse, Haldex, and WABCO
  • Welding certification advantageous
  • Experience with axle and brake systems, tail lifts, and maintenance of double-deck or lifting decks beneficial
