Campervan Conversion Technician / Fabricator Required in Wallington, Surrey 
  • Pay: £30,000 - £40,500 Basic Per Annum + overtime 
  • Hours: 40 Hours per week contracted, optional overtime evenings and Saturdays - up to you! 
Are you an experienced or enthusiastic about Campervan Conversions, Welding, Electrics, Carpentry or Fabricating looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a growing Automotive manufacturer team in Wallington? Our client is seeking a versatile professional to join their workshop, specialising in crafting high-quality campervans and motorhomes. This is an excellent chance to utilise your skills in a dynamic environment that values craftsmanship, attention to detail, and independence.

  • Competitive basic salary range of £32,000 up to £40,500 per annum depending on experience with potential for overtime

Duties:
  • Building and maintaining campervans with full conversions, bodywork, and finetuning
  • Fabricating and welding aluminium and steel components for bespoke camper projects
  • Mechanical work including engine conversions, brake systems, and general servicing
  • Joinery and cabinetry work for custom interior fit-outs
  • Working with 12V electrical systems, including wiring and electrical installation
  • Operating power tools and equipment efficiently and safely
  • Ensuring attention to detail to build high-quality, long-lasting conversions
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of relevant trade experience, ideally within campervan or motorhome conversions
  • Skilled in using power tools, welding, and fabrication equipment
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in 12V electrical systems and mechanical tasks
  • Versatile with a keen eye for detail and quality craftsmanship
  • Enthusiast or experience working with classic or modern campervans, Motorhomes, or VW conversions is preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours with optional Saturday shifts
  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to interpret instructions accurately
