Workshop Controller Required in Derby
- Basic: £45,000 – £50,000
- OTE: £55,000+ (Overtime Paid at Time and a Half)
- 45 hours per week – Flexible working pattern
We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy main dealer in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong ex-Technician or Diagnostic Technician looking to step into or further develop within a leadership role, overseeing workshop operations and ensuring the smooth running of the branch.

What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing day-to-day workshop operations
- Managing and delegating work to technicians effectively
- Ensuring productivity and efficiency targets are met
- Supporting front-of-house where required with customer interaction
- Maintaining high standards of work and compliance
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Technician or Diagnostic Technician
- Strong main dealer background
- Experience managing or leading technicians
- Confident in a customer-facing (FOH) environment
- Strong organisational and leadership skills
