Workshop Controller vacancy in Derby
  • Basic: £45,000 – £50,000
  • OTE: £55,000+ (Overtime Paid at Time and a Half)

We are recruiting for an experienced Workshop Controller to join a busy main dealer in Derby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong ex-Technician or Diagnostic Technician looking to step into or further develop within a leadership role, overseeing workshop operations and ensuring the smooth running of the branch.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Overseeing day-to-day workshop operations
  • Managing and delegating work to technicians effectively

  • Supporting front-of-house where required with customer interaction
  • Maintaining high standards of work and compliance
What we’re looking for:
  • Previous experience as a Technician or Diagnostic Technician
  • Strong main dealer background
  • Experience managing or leading technicians
  • Confident in a customer-facing (FOH) environment
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
