- VEHICLE SERVICE ADVISOR - SALISBURY
- SALARY: £30,155 basic salary with uncapped on-target earnings around £36,155 per annum.
- HOURS: 8:00am-6:00pm Monday to Friday (with one hour unpaid lunch), with one late finish at 6:30pm per week. Saturdays 8:00am-2:00pm on a rota basis, paid as additional hours.

Due to business expansion, our client, a franchise-approved car dealership in the Salisbury region, is currently looking to hire an experienced and professional Service Advisor for their Service Department.
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and working with a friendly aftersales team, your key responsibilities will include:
- To receive customers and their vehicles in a friendly and professional manner, discuss and confirm their requirements and take responsibility for the vehicle during its time at our client.
- To work with the workshop team to achieve the highest possible levels of performance.
- Keeping customers informed of the status of their vehicle, giving comprehensive technical and commercial advice on the extent of work to be done, provide a cost estimate for repair work
- Inform customers and potential customers about accessories and subsequent fitting of optional extras, promote any accessory campaigns
- To ensure that collection and delivery drivers operate to schedule and meet customer and workshop expectations.
- To ensure all customer and vehicle data is correctly captured and loaded to the Kerridge DMS and updated as required
- To ensure that repair orders are raised and processed according to the established guidelines and that work is completed to schedule and the required standard.
- To ensure that invoicing is accurate and completed on time.
- To take responsibility for subcontracted repairs and ensure the work has been completed.
- Ensure that proper use is made of technical information and that it is understood how to use the manufacturer's systems.
- To ensure all relevant warranty documentation and parts are identified and are kept for the warranty team.
Do you need previous Service Advisor experience? In short, no!
The successful candidate would ideally be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills, resulting in total customer satisfaction. Very strong organisational and IT skills would be of high priority. Any experience with the Kerridge DMS system or with Onelink would be beneficial. Current or recent experience as a Service Advisor would be highly advantageous to our client; however is non-essential provided you come from a strong customer service/sales-oriented background and are interested in undertaking a new challenge in the motor trade, as full training would be provided. A full, clean UK driving license with minimal points is essential, though.
