  • Technical Incident Manager in Thame.
  • Salary: Up to £24,400 per annum, pending experience, plus Saturday mornings paid as overtime at time and a half.
  • Hours: 35-hour week. 9:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch and 1 in 4 Saturdays, 9:00am-1:00pm paid as overtime.

Our client, a leader in mechanical breakdown warranties, roadside assistance, and maintenance contracts for vehicles with over 40 years' experience, operating in 9 European markets, is currently looking to recruit a Technical Incident Manager to operate from their office in Thame. 

Reporting to our client's Administration Team Manager, you will be responsible on a day-to-day basis for answering customer calls/emails in a professional, friendly, clear and coherent manner and building customers’ claims by putting all relevant information into the system or ensuring they are passed on to the correct person to deal with, including customer, dealer, and repairer queries and estimates. You will ensure that the Technical Incident Technicians are kept up to date with information relating to current claims and that claims invoices are correct and passed for payment within the agreed timeframe. You will also support the wider claims team and other departments if required.

To be eligible, you will need excellent customer service skills and be confident communicating over the phone and via email. You also need to be IT literate with a proficenct on Microsoft Word and Outlook, and have a methodical and organised approach, given you'll be handling a lot of administrative tasks. Any technical knowledge of motor vehicles would be beneficial, but is non-essential. Overall, you will be a team player who can demonstrate integrity, reliability, and accountability. You will show initiative, be a problem solver, and be able to promote and support our client's core values.

  • Starting salary to £24,400 per annum, pending experience.
