Our client, a well-established and reputable dealership in Taunton, is seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to work within a supportive environment, delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the smooth running of the workshop.
Benefits

Competitive basic salary of £31,000 per annum
Potential to earn an OTE of £39,000 with bonus incentives

Duties

Manage workshop resources efficiently to ensure timely vehicle servicing and repairs
Liaise effectively between the customer and workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime
Deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
Keep customers fully informed of costs, repairs, and future service needs
Accurately create job cards with detailed vehicle and customer information
Handle incoming bookings, customer enquiries, and address any concerns professionally
Maintain and update reporting systems, including daily operating controls and dealer management systems
Support warranty claim documentation and submissions with accuracy
Work closely with the Service Manager to review performance and suggest continuous improvements

Candidate Specification

Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade is highly preferred
Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
Good organisational and administrative abilities
Technical product knowledge within the automotive sector
Proficient IT skills and experience with dealer management systems
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage priorities
