We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MET Technician to join a busy automotive workshop in Pulborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented professional looking to develop their career within a reputable dealership group. The successful MET Technician will be working on a range of vehicle models, primarily focusing on insurance and dealer work, in a modern, well-equipped environment.

Duties

  • Carrying out mechanical repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles
  • Working efficiently to meet productivity targets for bonus qualification
  • Assisting with vehicle stripping, fitting, and electrical work as required
  • Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and industry standards
  • Maintaining high levels of quality and safety standards in the workshop
  • Using ramps and specialised tools to carry out repairs and inspections
Candidate spec

  • Qualified MET Technician with relevant industry certifications such as NVQ, ATA, or equivalent
  • Experience working on Citroën, Peugeot, Stellantis, or Kia vehicles is highly advantageous
  • Ability to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency (130%+ potential)
  • Willing to start early (6-7 am) if necessary
  • Good understanding of automotive electrical, mechanical, and bodywork repair processes
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work well in a team environment
