We are currently seeking a skilled MOT Technician to join our client's reputable automotive service centre in Maldon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to work in a well-established garage with a focus on quality service and customer satisfaction.

The successful MOT Technician will primarily perform MOT testing while also undertaking servicing, maintenance, and general repairs. This varied Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester role offers the chance to utilise your technical expertise in a supportive environment.

  • Competitive basic salary of up to £42,000 depending on experience
  • Optional overtime available on Saturday mornings
  • Monday to Friday working week with Saturdays mornings optional

Duties:
  • Conduct MOT tests in accordance with industry standards and regulations
  • Perform routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
  • Complete relevant documentation and reports efficiently
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications as an MOT Tester and Technician
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
