Hours: 42.5 Hours Monday - Friday + Saturday mornings on a rotational basis

This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading dealer group representing over 16 vehicle brands, committed to providing excellent service and rewarding their staff.

Duties

  • Servicing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, including checks and maintenance
  • Repairing and replacing faulty parts and components
  • Advising service reception teams on necessary repairs and producing accurate time estimates
  • Diagnosing vehicle issues using diagnostics tools and manufacturer standards
  • Performing system repairs and testing to ensure optimal operation
  • Maintaining detailed repair and service records
  • Replacing vehicle components and verifying their proper function after repairs
Candidate spec
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a main dealership as a Service or Diagnostic Vehicle Technician or in a similar workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic skills with a solid understanding of vehicle systems
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of quality
  • Passion for automotive work and a desire to develop further professionally
  • UK driving licence
