About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician to join a busy and growing automotive service centre in Swadlincote. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a professional workshop environment that values quality workmanship, customer service, and employee development.
The successful individual will carry out MOT testing alongside servicing, repairs, and general mechanical work, working as part of a supportive and experienced team.

- Carry out MOT testing in line with DVSA regulations
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
- Work on brakes, clutches, cambelts, exhausts, and tyres
- Use alignment equipment and carry out wheel alignment work where required
- Complete vehicle health checks and inspection reports accurately
- Identify additional repair requirements and communicate findings clearly
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and/or a valid MOT Tester licence
- Previous experience within a professional workshop environment
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Experience carrying out servicing and repair work efficiently
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence required
