Are you an experienced Mechanic seeking a new opportunity within a bodyshop workshop environment? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Independent Bodyshop in Windsor, Berkshire, for a skilled Mechanic to join their busy team. This role offers a competitive salary and a great working environment for professionals looking to further their career in the automotive repair industry.

  • Fgas licence essential for specific jobs
Duties:

  • Carry out timing belt and wet belt replacements on a range of vehicles, predominantly Ford models
  • Perform all-round mechanical repairs within a busy workshop environment
  • Undertake servicing tasks including heavier repairs and general maintenance
  • Work on a range of tasks in the service bay, ensuring quality workmanship
  • Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
  • Assist with a variety of repair and maintenance tasks as required
Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Mechanic or similar role within an automotive workshop
  • Level 3 qualification in vehicle mechanical repairs
  • Fgas license is essential for undertaking specific repair tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a committed work ethic
  • Comfortable handling a range of mechanical repairs, including timing belts and heavier jobs
