Duties:

  • Organise customer bookings for the workshop and communicate effectively regarding additional work or parts orders
  • Understand customer needs and interpret instructions accurately to ensure satisfaction
  • Assist with planning the workshop's capacity, monitoring work to ensure timely completion
  • Inspect, test, and check incoming and outgoing vehicles, acting as quality controller as required
  • Record all work, parts, and consumables precisely on the job card or repair order
  • Cost the work, generate invoices, and assist in customer communication throughout the service process
Candidate Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Proven experience working within an automotive service department
  • Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to follow strict procedures
  • Passion for the automotive industry and a professional approach to customer service
