A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and dedicated Paint Sprayer and Bodyshop Prepper to join a reputable insurance-approved bodyshop in Paignton. Duties of the Paint Sprayer/Prepper:
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting, including masking, sanding, and priming
  • Ensure bodies are properly prepped, including dent repairs and surface flattening
  • Mix and match paints accurately to achieve perfect colour matches
  • Apply base coats, clear coats, and finishes using spray equipment
  • Maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Inspect vehicles to ensure all repairs and painting meet quality standards
Candidate requirement:
  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer and Bodyshop Prepper within a bodyshop environment
  • Knowledge of insurance repair procedures and industry standards
  • Ability to produce high-quality, durable finishes
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability
  • Ability to work efficiently within a team while managing individual tasks effectively
