Location: Kidderminster
Salary: Up to £36,000 basic (DOE) | OTE £40,000
Hours: 8 hours per day Monday–Friday between 7:30am–6:00pm
Saturdays: 1 in 4, 8:00am–1:00pm (paid at time and a half)
Holiday: 22 days + bank holidays (rising with service)
About the Role Our client, a successful and well-established main dealer in the Kidderminster area, is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and professional workshop team.

They are ideally seeking someone confident with more complex mechanical work (such as wet belts and major repairs), although this is not essential for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles
- Carry out diagnostics and fault finding
- Complete larger mechanical jobs when required (e.g. wet belts)
- Perform vehicle health checks and report additional work
- Work efficiently to meet workshop targets
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation
- Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or busy workshop
- MOT Tester licence highly desirable (or willingness to gain)
- Ability to carry out more involved mechanical repairs preferred
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic salary up to £36,000 depending on experience
- Realistic OTE of £40,000
