Are you an experienced Bodyshop Manager seeking a new challenge within the automotive industry? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading accident repair group for a skilled and dedicated Bodyshop Manager to join their busy facility in Basingstoke, Hampshire. Duties:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the workshop to ensure smooth workflow from 7am start
  • Conduct daily team meetings to communicate targets, address issues, and delegate tasks
  • Manage repair progress and vehicle status updates, liaising with the Regional Manager
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and proper use of equipment and tools
  • Oversee the ordering of parts and manage work volumes for incoming and current jobs
  • Maintain high standards of repair quality and consistency throughout all repair stages
  • Monitor stock levels and control both wet and dry supplies effectively
  • Ensure all vehicles have complete 10-stage repair images for accurate job packs
  • Support, motivate, and develop workshop staff to uphold the company’s high standards of service
Candidate Requirement:

  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or similar leadership role within the automotive repair sector
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident leader
  • Proficient in using IT systems relevant to repair processes and management
  • A co-operative team player who fosters a positive team environment
  • Knowledge of modern repair procedures and health and safety standards
  • Self-motivated and able to work efficiently under pressure
  • Enthusiastic with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
