Our client, a reputable dealership in Chelmsford, Essex, is seeking a dedicated Aftersales Manager to lead their service department. This role offers a fantastic chance to manage a fast-paced environment, drive profitability, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Duties:
  • Oversee daily operations of the service department to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Manage and develop technicians and support staff through coaching and training

  • Control costs and optimise profit margins within the service department
  • Foster a customer-focused culture, ensuring all customer concerns are addressed professionally
  • Maintain compliance with manufacturer standards and health and safety regulations
  • Keep management informed of performance metrics, industry trends, and strategic initiatives
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a service manager or in a similar Aftersales managerial role
  • Strong technical knowledge combined with leadership and management training
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with customers, staff, and vendors
  • Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of service
  • Commercial awareness and a focus on achieving departmental targets
