Due to business expansion, our client, one of the UK’s most successful independently owned automotive dealer groups, representing world-class car and motorcycle brands, is launching an exciting new SMART repair venture and is looking for an experienced Tyre/Wheel Repair Technician to join their facility in Salisbury to support alloy wheel refurbishment and tyre repair.
Reporting to the SMART Repair Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include:
- Repair and refurbish alloy wheels, including diamond cut wheels
- Prepare wheels for paintwork and apply paint finishes to a high standard
- Remove, repair, balance and refit tyres
- Operate specialist wheel refurbishment machinery
- Meet and greet customers, manage enquiries and assist with quotes
- Ensure vehicles, tools and equipment are handled with care and kept safe and clean
- Adhere to all health, safety and housekeeping standards
To be eligible, you will need to have proven experience in vehicle tyre fitting and alloy wheel refurbishment. You will have a strong attention to detail with pride in your workmanship, be able to work independently while supporting a growing operation, and be committed to health, safety, and outstanding customer care. A UK driving licence with minimal points is essential.
