Service Technician – Independent Garage
  • Location: Nottingham
  • Salary: Up to £35,000 basic + bonus (depending on experience)
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 08:30am – 5:30pm | Alternate Saturday mornings
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Service Technician to join a well-established independent garage in Nottingham.

This is a great chance to become part of a friendly, supportive workshop team where you’ll be working on a wide variety of makes and models in a busy, fast-paced environment. The business offers a stable workload, a strong local reputation, and opportunities to develop your technical skills further.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on customer vehicles
  • Complete vehicle inspections and identify any faults or wear and tear
  • Assist with general mechanical repairs as required
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within set timeframes
  • Maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation
  • Work collaboratively as part of a small, skilled workshop team
  • Deliver quality workmanship and good customer care standards
About You:
  • Level 2 qualification acceptable with strong experience
  • Level 3 qualification preferred
  • Previous experience as a Service Technician or Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment
  • Strong mechanical knowledge across a range of makes and models
  • Reliable, motivated, and a strong team player
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Full UK driving licence required
