- Leading and supervising daily workshop operations to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest standard
- Allocating tasks to technicians based on their skills and workload to maximise productivity
- Coaching and mentoring team members to enhance technical skills and deliver excellent customer service
- Supporting technicians with complex diagnostics and repairs as needed
- Overseeing job card completion, conducting quality checks, and ensuring invoices are accurate
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, training needs identification, and maximising first-time fix rates
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and professional workshop environment
- Acting as a key liaison between the front-of-house team and workshop operations
- Proven experience in a workshop supervisory or senior technician role, ideally with main dealer experience
- Strong technical knowledge supported by leadership qualities
- Technician and MOT experience is desirable but not essential; a positive attitude and leadership skills are most important
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
