Parts Manager - Avonmouth/Swindon/Gloucester
  • Salary: From £45,000 per annum, plus access to a bonus scheme and company car
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Our client, a franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealer group, requires a Group Parts Manager to oversee their three dealerships located in Avonmouth, Swindon, and Gloucester.

As the Group Parts Manager, you will report to the Aftersales Director and work primarily in Avonmouth, with regular travel to other sites. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: 

Manage three teams of Parts Advisors across three dealerships
  • Drive parts sales performance and maximise profitability
  • Maintain optimal stock levels and improve stock control processes
  • Lead, coach, and develop parts teams to achieve targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently met
  • Monitor KPIs and implement strategies for continuous improvement
  • Support and standardise processes across all locations
To be eligible, you will live within an easily commutable distance of Avonmouth and be willing to travel to our clients' other sites. You will need to hold strong current automotive vehicle parts management experience, ideally working with the commercial vehicle dealership Parts Department. Our client is willing to. You will also need to be IT literate, given that you will work daily with a dealer management system and electronic parts catalogue system, hold a UK driving license with minimal points, and have strong customer service skills and understanding of parts operations, with a friendly and charismatic manner.
