Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester

Salary: up to £41,000 basic, with an OTE of approximately £48,800 depending on skills and experience

Prep Technician – Up to £35,000
Service & Maintenance Technician – Up to £36,200
Service & Diagnostic Technician - Up to £38,600
Senior Technician - Up to £41,000

Job Description:

This Vehicle Technician role offers a chance to work within a well-established dealership that prioritises quality service and professional growth. You will be responsible for diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance work on a variety of vehicles, applying your technical skills to ensure first-time fixes and high customer satisfaction. Duties:
  • Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Applying your technical knowledge to both routine and complex repairs
  • Ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and correctly on the first visit
  • Maintaining accurate records of all work completed
  • Providing excellent customer service by offering professional advice and updates
Employee spec:
  • Relevant automotive qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience as a Vehicle Technician at a main dealership or recognised garage
  • Own set of tools suitable for professional automotive repairs
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
