Are you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking for a rewarding role in a well-established workshop? We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent garage located in Central Winchester, Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to join a friendly team and work in a modern, fully equipped environment.

The successful Vehicle Technician will have the chance to work with a variety of vehicles, including hybrids and electric models, and be part of a business that values technical expertise and great customer service. The workshop maintains a straightforward, old-school approach with written job cards, clocking in on jobs, and keeping processes simple and effective.

Duties:
  • Carry out repairs and servicing on a range of vehicles
  • Diagnose issues accurately using the latest diagnostic equipment
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and meticulous attention to detail
  • Complete all work within manufacturer and industry standards
  • Keep detailed job records and communicate with customers effectively
  • Assist in maintaining workshop cleanliness and health and safety standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with competence in diagnostics, clutches, cambelts, and general repairs
  • Experience working on hybrid and electric vehicles is highly desirable
  • MOT Tester certification is advantageous or the ability to obtain it
  • Strong diagnostic skills with familiarity with Bosch, Autel, and Snap-On diagnostic tools
  • A positive attitude, good communication skills, and ability to work well within a team
  • Full driving licence
  • No specific qualifications are required, but relevant experience is essential
