We are currently recruiting for the position of Accounts Assistant on behalf of a well-established motor dealership group based in Bury.

Due to ongoing expansion, this is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to join a busy, professional accounts team across multiple dealership sites. If you have experience in accounts or administration and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to explore this position.

Duties as a Accounts Assistant:
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, including keying all bank transactions and allocating general sales ledger receipts and vehicle payments
  • Process purchase invoices efficiently and accurately
  • Manage supplier payments and statements, ensuring timely processing
  • Support the accounts team with various administrative and financial tasks
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping and ensure compliance with company standards
Requirements that the Accounts Assistant:
  • Previous experience in accounts or bookkeeping preferred
  • Experience within the motor trade is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Good organisational and communication skills
  • Confident in using computer systems and Excel
  • Organised, dependable, and capable of working effectively as part of a team
This Accounts Assistant position offers a competitive salary of £26,500 per annum. The position is based at our Bury site and involves working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
