  • Salary: Up to £40,000 Depending on Experience
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm (40 hours per week) + Overtime Available
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Engineer / Vehicle Technician to join a specialist engineering company based in Coalville.

This position would suit an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to take the next step into the HGV and specialist equipment industry, working on advanced sewer cleaning and wastewater equipment within a growing and highly skilled workshop team.

Key Responsibilities as a Workshop Engineer / Vehicle Technician:
  • Maintain, service, and repair specialist HGV body equipment
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
  • Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance work
  • Complete service and compliance documentation accurately
  • Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service
  • Work safely and efficiently within the workshop environment
  • Support ongoing training and knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements that the Workshop Engineer / Vehicle Technician:
  • Experience working on HGVs, LCVs, or commercial vehicles
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge
  • Confident carrying out diagnostics and fault finding
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work under pressure
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude towards learning and development
