We are currently seeking a motivated and personable Service Advisor to join a well-established automotive business in Bognor Regis, West Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys customer interaction and wants to develop their career within the motor trade. The role offers a competitive basic salary along with an achievable bonus structure, making it an excellent step forward in your automotive career.

Benefits:
  • Competitive basic salary of £30,500 per annum
  • OTE of approximately £33,750 per year with bonus
  • Working hours Monday to Friday 8 am to 5.30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break
  • Alternate Saturdays 8 am to 1 pm paid at overtime rates
  • 45 hours per week with overtime available
  • Friendly and supportive team environment
  • Opportunity for future career expansion as the business plans to grow
Duties:
  • Deal with customers in a professional and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service
  • Book vehicle services and MOTs, accurately recording customer details
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and the workshop team
  • Upsell vehicle maintenance and repair services where appropriate
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Handle customer queries effectively and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and detailed service records
Candidate spec:
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry is preferred, but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment with a good sense of humour
  • Well-organised with attention to detail
  • Professional attitude and a proactive approach to customer service
  • No specific motortrade background is necessary, just a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer experiences
