Are you an experienced MOT Tester seeking a rewarding role within a busy dealership environment?

 Our client, a reputable volume main dealer in Exeter, is looking for a skilled MOT Tester to join their professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who takes pride in delivering high-quality vehicle testing and maintenance services, and who wants to work with a company that values and invests in its staff.
  • Volume Main Dealer
  • Basic salary of up to £34k DOE, OTE up to £36k
  • Monday to Friday only
Benefits of the MOT Tester role:
  • Generous basic salary of up to £34,000 DOE
  • OTE earning potential of approximately £36,000
  • Monday to Friday working hours, no weekends

Duties of an MOT Tester:
  • Conduct MOT testing in accordance with DVSA standards
  • Perform general servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
  • Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults on a variety of vehicles
  • Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of all work carried out
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety in the workshop
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent
  • Valid MOT licence
  • At least 3 years’ experience working within a workshop or dealership environment
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with a good eye for detail
  • Reliable, efficient, and dedicated to delivering excellent service
  • Organised with good record-keeping abilities
