We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Bodyshop Workshop Controller to join a reputable automotive body repair centre in Paignton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a key leadership role within a busy and well-established operation. As the Bodyshop Workshop Controller, you will oversee the daily running of the bodyshop, ensuring work is completed efficiently, to high standards, and in accordance with customer specifications.

Duties of a Bodyshop Workshop Controller:
  • Manage and coordinate the workload within the bodyshop to optimise productivity
  • Liaise with insurance companies, customers, and workshop staff to guarantee smooth communication and workflow
  • Monitor repair progress and quality to ensure adherence to industry standards
  • Ensure timely completion of jobs while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Assist with training and developing workshop staff to improve performance and efficiency
Candidate requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Workshop Controller or in a similar managerial role within a bodyshop environment
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of insurance procedures and repair processes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
  • Valid UK driving licence is preferred
