Motorcycle Workshop Controller Vacancy - Southampton, Hampshire

Duties:
  • Manage the daily workshop diary ensuring smooth workflow
  • Allocate work to technicians based on skill level, efficiency, and workload demands
  • Monitor progress to ensure timely completion of all jobs
  • Liaise with the parts department to ensure parts availability and efficiency
  • Process job cards, warranty claims and invoicing accurately and promptly
  • Support the service team with updates on repair progress and additional work requirements
  • Maintain manufacturer compliance and uphold workshop standards
  • Supervise and oversee the work of a team of motorcycle technicians and support staff
  • Contribute to a high standard of customer service and workshop organisation
Individual spec:
  • Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Service Advisor or in a similar workshop coordination role preferred, However our client would look at enthusiastic individuals with transferable skills to succeed in this role
  • Knowledge of motorcycle or automotive industry highly desirable
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and team management abilities
  • Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS)
  • Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented attitude
  • Enthusiasm and a proactive approach to workshop management
  • An individual looking to progress within the motorcycle industry or seeking a role with more autonomy
