Commercial Vehicle Technician required in Andover.
  • Salary: Between £43,000-50,000 per annum pending experience plus a bonus scheme, shift allowance, and overtime availability.
  • Hours: 7:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday with an hour lunch and 1 in 3 Sat mornings 7:30am-12:30pm

Our client, one of the UK's largest automotive dealer groups, is currently looking to recruit a Commercial and Motorhome Technician for their rental business in Andover.

Reporting to the Workshop Manager and working as part of a team, your key objectives will include:
  • Carry out servicing and maintenance of HGVs, LCVs and Motorhomes across our client's range.
  • Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair; this work may include warranty-approved work in line with brand parameters.
  • Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified).
  • Completing job cards and electronic write-ups on franchise platforms.
  • Completion of electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs).
  • Support Apprentice Technicians as required.
To be eligible, you will need to ideally be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, and ideally have several years' experience beyond your qualification.

Overall, you will need to be a committed individual and a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.

Individuals with an active HGV driving license would be highly advantageous to our client; however, this is non-essential.
