- Position: Vehicle Technician
- Location: Northampton
- Basic Salary: £33,650 + bonus
- OTE: £39,500
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday only
- Overtime available on Saturdays
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a modern and busy main dealership in Northampton. Responsibilities:
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Completing warranty repairs and general mechanical work
- Performing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required
- Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, productivity and safety
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (IMI, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
- MOT Licence preferred but not essential
- A positive attitude with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
