Our reputable client, a well-established and rapidly expanding tyre retailer, is looking for a dedicated Service Technician to join their busy workshop. - Perform vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs to high standards and safety regulations
- Assist with tyre fitting, wheel alignments, and relevant adjustments
- Fit brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical components efficiently and accurately
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner, complying with health and safety regulations
- Identify additional faults during inspections and communicate findings clearly to customers and management
- Maintain accurate inspection and repair records
- Support the team with other workshop duties as required
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostics ability
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points (subject to licence checks)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communicator, able to explain technical issues clearly to customers
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering superb customer service
