Are you an experienced Master Vehicle Technician looking to take your career to the next level? An excellent opportunity has arisen at a reputable workshop in Chelmsford, Essex, where you can utilise your technical expertise and develop professionally within a supportive team environment.

This Master Vehicle Technician role offers a competitive basic salary of £46,000, with the potential to earn up to £52,600 OTE, reflecting your skill and dedication. The position involves working an average of 42 hours per week with attractive working hours: Monday from 8.30am to 5.00pm, Tuesday to Friday from 8.15am to 5.00pm, and one in four Saturday mornings from 9.00am to 1.00pm. The workshop values continuous improvement and provides manufacturer training opportunities.

Duties:
  • Conduct advanced diagnostics to identify and resolve complex faults to manufacturer standards
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians and colleagues
  • Perform quality control checks on both new and used vehicles to ensure high standards of workmanship
  • Maintain excellent customer service and uphold workshop reputation for exceptional service levels
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and manufacturer protocols
Requirements:
  • Between 3 to 5 years of experience as a qualified technician, ideally with a premium brand
  • Strong diagnostic skills combined with mechanical expertise
  • Previous experience as a Master Technician or in a similar senior role
  • NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools and testing equipment
  • A full, clean UK driving licence is essential
