Mobile Calibration Technician
  • Location: Midlands Region
  • Basic: £35,000
  • OTE: £42,000
  • Hours: 40 Hour Working Week
Our client is seeking a Mobile Calibration Technician to join their field-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, travelling to customer sites and delivering accurate, high-quality technical services. Full training is provided.

On a mobile basis, you will be travelling to a variety of clients in the Midlands and North of England, visiting their sites to calibrate their tools and machines to ensure they work as intended.
Full training is provided, you will work alongside a current engineer until you are confident enough to go at it alone. Automotive Technicians are desirable in this role as you will be mainly working within the automotive sector, calibrating familiar garage tools and equipment. 

They are a close-knit team of engineers and managers who offer a great working environment, company events, meet ups after work etc, they have a great social aspect to the business. 

The role is based is covering the Midlands and the North, so individuals would ideally be centrally based. Within the West Midlands, and surrounding areas (Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Cheshire etc.) are encouraged to apply. 

What’s in it for you:
  • £35,000 basic salary
  • OTE of £42,000 with commission and bonus

What you’ll be doing:
  • Travelling to customer sites across the Midlands carrying out calibration work
  • Testing, inspecting and maintaining measuring equipment
  • Completing calibration documentation and records
  • Managing your own schedule and workload
  • Delivering a professional service to customers
What we’re looking for:
  • Full UK Driving Licence with 6 points or fewer
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good IT and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Workshop or bodyshop experience would be advantageous
