  • Salary: Up to £45,000 Basic Salary Depending on Experience
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

Our client, a successful and rapidly expanding Independent Used Car Supermarket in Derby, is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their modern and busy workshop.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
  • Completing MOT tests where qualified
  • Undertaking road tests and ramp inspections
  • Carrying out repairs in line with approved methods and manufacturer standards
  • Completing all relevant job cards and workshop documentation accurately
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure workshop efficiency
What Our Client Expects from Their Vehicle Technicians:
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience within a workshop environment
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
  • MOT Licence would be advantageous but is not essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Own tools
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively within a busy team environment
