Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking vehicle maintenance provider based in Havant, Hampshire, is seeking a skilled MOT Tester to join their team.

Duties:
  • Conduct MOT tests in strict accordance with DVSA guidelines to ensure safety and compliance
  • Complete detailed inspections and provide clear, honest reports to customers and service advisors
  • Maintain equipment, tools, and workspace to the highest safety and cleanliness standards
  • Support the service team with vehicle inspections, repairs, and general maintenance tasks as needed
  • Keep up-to-date with industry standards and MOT regulation changes to guarantee quality service
  • Build positive relationships with customers through transparency and trustful communication
Individual spec:
  • Must hold a valid DVSA MOT Tester licence
  • Previous experience as an MOT Tester within a dealership, independent garage, or fast-fit centre
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance practices
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality
  • Organised with good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • A self-motivated individual who takes ownership of their work and values customer satisfaction
  • Holder of a valid UK driving licence
