Apprentice Technician Job In Southend-on-Sea

Our client, a well-established automotive service centre in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, is currently looking to recruit a semi skilled/newly qualified Technician to join their team.

Main duties as a Technician will involve:

• Carrying out scheduled servicing and fault diagnosis
• Ensuring high standards of vehicle safety and quality control
• Completing detailed documentation of all work undertaken
• Working efficiently within a team to meet workshop targets
• Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge on vehicle systems

Individual requirements for the Technician role:

• Either be in the second or third year at college or newly qualified
• Full driving licence is essential
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ 2 ideally, can look at NVQ 1)
• Strong technical skills and a methodical approach
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Good communication skills and team player attitude
