Join a leading Commercial Van Centre in Manchester as a Commercial Van Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced skilled technicians looking to advance their careers within a reputable and family-run business.

Our client is seeking a dedicated Commercial Van Technician to join their professional team, working in a modern, fully equipped workshop. The role offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits designed to support your growth and well-being.

Duties:
  • Service, repair, and diagnose a wide variety of light commercial vehicles, including vans
  • Conduct routine maintenance, safety inspections, and MOT preparations
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults accurately and efficiently
  • Test vehicles and perform road tests to ensure quality standards
  • Maintain detailed service and repair records for each vehicle
  • Support colleagues with technical expertise and uphold high standards of workmanship
  • Assist in workshop equipment maintenance and ensure operations meet manufacturer standards
Requirements:
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Proven experience as a commercial vehicle technician or van technician, ideally with main dealer background
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK driving licence, with EV / Hybrid qualifications preferred (training provided)
  • Several years of post-apprenticeship workshop experience
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
