  • Salary: £43,000 – £50,000 Basic (Depending on Qualification Level & Experience)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift | 45 Hours Per Week
  • No Weekend Work
Our client, a well-established and growing commercial vehicle business, is looking to recruit a Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician to support fleet customers across the Nottinghamshire area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV or LCV Technician who enjoys working independently, visiting customer sites, and delivering first-class maintenance and repair services.

This position can be based from either the Nottingham or Mansfield branch and offers excellent career development, manufacturer training, and long-term job security.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on commercial vehicles
  • Diagnose and rectify faults using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Attend customer sites and depots to support fleet maintenance requirements
  • Complete inspections, vehicle health checks, and defect diagnosis
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet customers
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times
  • Manage van stock, tools, and equipment effectively
  • Complete all relevant documentation accurately
What Our Client Expects from Their Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technicians:
  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or LCV Technician
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience working independently and managing workloads effectively
  • Knowledge of servicing, inspections, and repairs on commercial vehicles
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, IMI, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience in a mobile technician role would be advantageous but is not essential
