Our client, a leading vehicle repair and accident management group, is seeking an experienced Paint Technician to join their team in Stockport. Duties:
  • Prepare vehicles meticulously for painting including priming and masking
  • Apply paint accurately to achieve high-quality finishes using the latest techniques and materials
  • Match colours precisely to original vehicle shades, ensuring a seamless repair
  • Use appropriate PPE and RPE for safety compliance at all times
  • Inspect and polish finished paint jobs to meet the highest standards
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to uphold safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate effectively within a team to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Support the ongoing development and training of team members related to painting techniques
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Paint Technician or Vehicle Painter, ideally within an automotive repair or body shop environment
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in vehicle painting with a strong attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of paint processes, colour matching, and finishing techniques
  • Capable of working efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Committed to maintaining high safety standards and quality workmanship
  • Driven to support continuous improvement and development within the workplace
