Are you an experienced Van Technician seeking a new and rewarding opportunity? Our client, a reputable van dealership based near Stanmore, Greater London, is currently looking to recruit a talented Van Technician to join their busy workshop. This is an excellent chance for skilled technicians to work in a dynamic environment, focusing on the preparation of a high volume of lease vans.

Duties:

  • Service and repair of light commercial vans, mainly lease vehicles
  • Carry out routine maintenance such as brake pads, clutch replacements, and injector repairs
  • Work on assigned vehicles independently, ensuring quality workmanship
  • Utilise own tools and equipment in a professional environment
  • Maintain a high standard of health and safety at all times
  • Efficiently manage workshop time to meet targets and deadlines
  • Support the team with additional duties as required
Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Van Technician or Light Commercial Vehicle Technician
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic
  • Respectful and professional attitude
  • Reliable with a stable work record; no frequent sick leave
  • Own tools are essential; workshop has ramps and facilities
  • Live within commutable distance to Stanmore, Greater London
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends for overtime if desired
