Our client, a leading commercial vehicle dealership in Derby, is looking to recruit an experienced Truck Sales Manager to join their successful team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional with commercial vehicle experience to take ownership of a thriving sales operation, build strong customer relationships, and drive business growth.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Truck Sales Manager:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key accounts
  • Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable commercial vehicle solutions
  • Manage the full sales process from enquiry through to handover
  • Deliver a complete customer experience, including aftersales support and relationship management
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and dealership KPIs
  • Ensure the sales department operates efficiently and professionally
  • Maintain detailed product knowledge and stay up to date with industry and legislative developments
  • Generate new business opportunities while developing existing customer accounts
What Our Client Expects from Their Truck Sales Manager:
  • Previous experience in a Truck Sales, Commercial Vehicle Sales, or HGV Sales role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Self-motivated, organised, and results-driven
  • Ability to motivate and influence customers and colleagues alike
  • DAF product knowledge would be advantageous
  • HGV Licence beneficial but not essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence
