Vehicle Technician - Diagnostic Specialist Required in Wimbledon for Fleet Company 
  • Hours: 8.30 - 6pm Monday - Friday - Optional Saturdays paid as overtime
  • Pay: £38,000 - £45,000 Basic DOE 
We are currently recruiting a Vehicle Technician - Diagnostic Specialist to join our fleet-focused workshop in Wimbledon. If you are strong on diagnostics and enjoy working through faults to get vehicles back on the road quickly and safely, this is a fantastic opportunity to progress with a forward-thinking employer.

Benefits:
  • Basic salary of £38,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
  • Optional Saturdays available with overtime paid at time and a half
  • Monday to Friday working pattern, 8.30am to 6.00pm
  • Generous holiday allowance of 20 days plus bank holidays
  • Modern workshop environment with a dedicated individual ramp
  • Mixture of diesel and petrol fleet vehicles, including cars and vans
Duties:
  • Diagnose faults accurately using diagnostic equipment and systematic testing
  • Repair and rectify issues across both diesel and petrol vehicles
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Support efficient turnaround times for fleet vehicles
  • Ensure all diagnostic findings and repair work are recorded correctly
  • Work effectively within a busy workshop while prioritising quality
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Vehicle Technician - Diagnostic Specialist within a similar role
  • Strong diagnostic skills across diesel and petrol vehicles
  • Proven ability to identify faults and carry out effective repairs
  • Current, relevant automotive qualifications and a professional attitude
  • Willingness to assist with optional Saturday overtime when required
  • Confidence working with fleet vehicles, including cars and vans
