Vehicle Technician Required - Chelmsford

We are currently recruiting an experienced Technician to join our client’s busy workshop in Chelmsford, Essex. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, well-rounded motor trade professional looking to develop their career with a forward-thinking team.

Benefits:
  • Basic salary from £40,000 depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday working pattern, no weekends
  • Modern workshop setup with an existing MOT bay and three testers

Duties:
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults efficiently
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and general workshop duties to a high standard
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure work is completed to specification
  • Work collaboratively with the team to keep jobs flowing smoothly
  • Support quality control to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Technician within a motor trade environment
  • Strong diagnostic skills and a practical, problem-solving approach
  • Quality-focused attitude with the ability to work to deadlines
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
  • MOT testing experience is not essential, as the site already has experienced testers
