We are working with a family-owned quarry and aggregates business to recruit an experienced Concrete Batcher to run and support batching operations on site in Bolton. This is a rare opportunity to join a growing operation where quality, safety, and productivity matter every day.

- Carry out daily checks and routine maintenance of batching plant and associated machinery
- Keep accurate and up-to-date batch records
- Support and drive the batching process to maximise optimum productivity
- Follow all health, safety and environment regulations
- Proven experience as a Concrete Batcher, batching concrete to spec
- Strong work ethic with a proactive approach on site
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team and use your initiative independently
- Strong timekeeping and attention to detail when completing records
- Good understanding of safe working practices and a clear willingness to adhere to health and safety requirements
- Must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate to Lancashire before starting work
- At least 1 year of batching experience
- Operating hours are approximately 06:00 to 18:00 or 19:00
- Standard contract of 40 hours per week with some flexibility
- Sites open on Saturday mornings from 07:00 to 13:00, with overtime paid accordingly
