  • Salary: Up to £54,600 per annum with an increase on completion of 6 months probation. 
  • Hours: 7:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday with paid breaks and occasional Saturday mornings subject to business demand.

Our client, a large automotive accident repair group established throughout England, is currently looking to recruit a Paint Sprayer to join their busy centre in Cheltenham.

Reporting to the Centre Manager and working as part of a large team, as a Paint Sprayer, your responsibilities will include: 
  • Paint vehicles to a high standard, ensuring timely completion.
  • Possess a strong understanding of paint processes and techniques.
  • Experienced in preparation tasks such as priming and masking vehicles.
  • Use RPE and PPE appropriately and at the correct times.
  • Accurately match painted panels to the vehicle’s original colour.
  • Apply the necessary amount of paint for optimal results.
  • Inspect finished paint jobs and polish as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Work effectively as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
To be eligible for this role, you will ideally be a fully qualified Paint Sprayer to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Alternatively, our client is willing to consider individuals with strong time-served experience working as a Paint Sprayer. You will need to hold a UK driving licence with minimal points, be a committed individual and be a good team player. You must be able to produce high-quality workmanship in a busy working environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team. Individuals with an ATA accreditation would be highly advantageous, but it is not essential.
