  • Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Service Advisor to join our client’s busy, customer-focused service team in Exeter, Devon. If you enjoy delivering an outstanding customer experience, managing workshop schedules and driving service opportunities, this Service Advisor role is a great opportunity to develop your career within the motor trade.

Duties of a Service Advisor:

- Welcome customers and act as the main point of contact from vehicle arrival through to completion
- Liaise with technicians to ensure accurate job updates, timings and estimates are communicated clearly
- Manage service bookings, prioritise workflow and coordinate effectively to meet planned targets
- Identify opportunities to promote service plans and add-on services in line with customer needs
- Use relevant systems to record job details, progress updates and final outcomes
- Ensure customer satisfaction is consistently delivered through clear communication and a professional service approach
 
Candidate Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing aftersales role within a main dealer or independent workshop environment
- Confident using dealership or aftersales systems to manage bookings, job cards and updates
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle customer queries professionally
- A proactive approach to upselling, with the confidence to recommend service plans and additional work appropriately
- A good understanding of workshop processes and the importance of accurate estimates and timekeeping
