We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Part Time Service Advisor to join their busy and well-established service department in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire. This is a rewarding opportunity for a skilled, customer focused professional who can deliver excellent service and keep workshop and customer communication running smoothly.

Duties:
  • Greeting customers and booking vehicles in for servicing, repairs and inspections
  • Advising customers on recommended work, maintaining clear and accurate communication throughout
  • Raising and progressing service jobs, ensuring estimates, authorisations and labour times are managed correctly
  • Liaising with the workshop team to track progress and confirm completion times
  • Keeping accurate records on job progress, customer updates and service documentation
  • Handling customer queries promptly, professionally and in line with company standards
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Service Advisor within a franchised dealer, independent garage or similar environment
  • Excellent customer service skills with the confidence to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Strong administration ability, including the accurate completion of job cards and service documentation
  • Good understanding of service processes, estimates and authorisation procedures
  • A reliable, proactive approach and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast paced environment
